Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SudsQuote (the "Service"), operated by an independent developer ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SudsQuote helps pressure washing and exterior cleaning businesses create price estimates, quotes, invoices and client records, and collect payments online. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice where practical.

2. Accounts

• You need an account to save quotes and manage clients. Accounts are created with a verified email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your email secure and for everything done from your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for legitimate business purposes.
• You may not create accounts through automated means or resell access without our permission.

3. Plans and payments

• The Service offers a free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Team). Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice; changes do not affect your current billing period.
• Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, which handles card payments, taxes and billing. By subscribing you agree to Creem's terms for payment processing.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the balance is settled.

4. Your data

You own the business data you enter (quotes, invoices, client records). You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on collection, processing and your rights.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Transmit illegal, fraudulent or infringing content, or content you have no right to process (including client data collected without proper consent).
• Attempt to access other users' data, probe the infrastructure, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service in violation of applicable law, including spam laws, data protection law or trade regulations.

You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from your own customers before storing their data and emailing them quotes.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its branding, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable law. You may not copy, modify or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Price estimates produced by the calculator are market-rate starting points based on typical regional data; they are not quotes, guarantees of actual market prices, or professional advice. Always verify prices for your specific job and region.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, fraud, or where required by law. Upon termination, we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or tax reasons.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated date on this page. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the Service operates. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute amicably. Where permitted, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
